Recruiting Realities

You and your student-athlete are invited to hear nationally renowned recruiting expert Jack Renkens on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

MHS athletic director Bob Joers is confident you will find Jack’s one-hour presentation educational, informative and entertaining. Renkens is entering his 18th year touring the United States and has been featured on numerous TV and radio shows on recruiting.

Renkens is a former college coach and has already helped thousands of families around the country with recruiting. He has written 14 books on the recruiting process, and speaks to more than 170 high schools annually.

MHS has made a big investment on behalf of parents, student-athletes and the community for this seminar on the realities of college recruiting. He will also speak about the unique financial opportunities available to student-athletes.

The event is free and designed for every high school parent and student-athlete.


A presentation by Jack Renkens to student-athletes, their families and coaches that runs approximately 50 minutes. Jack’s been assisting High School coaches and Athletic Directors for  nearly 19 years, empowering their student ­athletes by revealing the real process behind college recruiting.


Experience. Jack has coached at the high school, junior college and college level (including 3 NCAA National Tournament Berths). His personal experiences as a coach recruiting his players, as an athletic director and as a parent are what set Jack apart.
